Privacy notice

Last updated

This notice explains what the Manifest website collects when you visit it or ask for a demo, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

The Manifest website is run by AdaptAI Consulting Inc., based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Manifest is an AdaptAI product. AdaptAI is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a demo, we collect:

  • your work email, full name and company
  • your fleet size, role and message, if you add them
  • the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) and which form you used
  • a one-way hash of your IP address, used to limit repeated requests; we never store the address itself
  • your browser's user agent and the time of the request

We use these details only to arrange and follow up on your demo, and we don't sell them.

Before a request is accepted, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it comes from a person rather than a bot. To do that, Cloudflare processes signals from your browser such as your IP address and user agent.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. They report aggregated statistics only and don't use cookies. Vercel recognises a visit by a hash of the request, which it discards after 24 hours.

This site doesn't set cookies of its own.

Who processes it for us

These service providers process information on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts the website and provides the analytics described above.
  • Neon runs the database where demo requests are stored.
  • Resend delivers each new demo request to our team by email.
  • Cloudflare runs the Turnstile check on the demo form.

Where it's stored

Demo requests are stored in a Neon database in the United States (Oregon). Vercel serves the website and handles the demo form on servers in the United States, and Resend and Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries. Information stored or processed outside Canada may be accessible to courts and authorities there.

How long we keep it

We delete or anonymise demo requests 24 months after our last contact with you. Requests we mark as spam are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights and how to reach us

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent to our using it. Email harry@adaptai.ca and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
